"I enjoy (the extra responsibility)," Madden said. "I recognize that sometimes I'm successful in getting the team moving so I'm sure that whenever we can get the ball going quickly and also me being in the game, that could aid in getting us motivated."
Madden's partner in offense is Chamberlin who's perimeter skill set coincides perfectly with Madden's inner presence. While Chamberlin is struggling with shooting the ball to start this season, she scored 15.9 scores per game last season, shooting 45% of her total shots and 72 triples at an average of 41.
Her passing might be her greatest contribution in the sense that while Blue River boasts in shooting it is lacking in guard playmaking. Chamberlin's 3.2 assists per game has increased to 4.3 per game this season, and the security she draws helps Madden and the others on the team's shooting team thrive.
